Creo que uno de los primeros destinos paradisíacos que conocí por nombre fue Hawái, ¿y es que quién no ha oído hablar de esta isla? 5. Contempla el amanecer más impactante de tu vida en las “Escaleras al Cielo” de Oahu

On the Island of O’ahu there is a Stairway to heaven. The Haiku Stairs has a total of 3,922 steps and sits on the Ko’Olau mountain range. Built in 1942 by the US Navy to help workers construct the top secret Ha’iku Radio Station. When the steps were first built in 1942 it started just as a ladder, then replaced by wooden steps. In int he 1950’s the wooden steps were then replaced by metal scraps. This hike has been closed to the public since 1987, hikers then and now ignore the no trespassing sign and still climb to the top. There are no plans to reopen this trail to the public, a guard even stands at bottom of the steps to deter people away. Word is, the trail has a guard 23 1/2 hours a day.
